"TVC - The Voice of Culture" journey begins with telling you a little bit of history about Rudy Cortez; the founder of CAS - Cultural Arts Society, Inc. He shares his personal story and experiences beginning as a Tex-Mex Accordionist as a teenager in the 70's to Grammy Award nominated in the 21st century and continues on with the Texas Hispanic culture and lifestyle (Vibes) in San Antonio, Texas. Then as an activist consulting the American Federation of Musicians for improving the rights of Latino/Hispanic musicians with signatory converted Latin record labels which allowed musicians to collect on their royalties and improve their standards to earn a living. Serving as a US Air Force military veteran, Rudy began embarking into uncharted territory where he found himself learning new languages and cultures in a multitude of countries and enthralled with the similarities and differences of other cultures. 

Since America and Texas are part of a melting pot, The CAS vision is to create and produce content that bring together the art, dance, film, fashion, food, talents and contributors of our TexAmericana culture and music inspired of a culture - south of the border.  We will show how Texas and American culture is influenced by other cultures and trace them back to their originating countries; eventually dating as far back as a few thousand years ago.... Coming soon to a city near you; Sleeping Giant Women Entrepreneurs Networking Events and Entrepreneur News: Special Report with a surprise host.  The Sleeping Giant Televised live Stream Event, is a special presentation Empowering Entrepreneurs. These live events will feature music by the Patsy Torres Band and highlight Hispanic/Latina Women Entrepreneurs.
